29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10): Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system: a) 207 Webster Square Rd., Berlin, CT. Job Site - On or about 11-13-14 - Employee was observed working outside of the warning line system without a fall protection system in use. No personal fall arrest system or safety monitor system was being used. The Roofing Concepts Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 312344260, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on 1-26-10, with respect to a workplace located at 1901 Plainfield Pike, Johnston, RI. 02919. |
