This exposed employees to hand and arm injuries associated with the operation of this machine. c) On or about July 13, 2020 a horizontal band saw located in the Tooling Department of Building 1 was not provided with a guard for the unused portion of the blade. This exposed employees to hand injuries from operating. d) On or about July 13, 2020 a Okuma LB15 Lathe was found to have an interlock that allowed the doors to open approximately 4 1/2 inches. This opening was too wide and exposed employees to hand and arm injuries if they reached in during operation.
